Goodbye to the bitter winds of winter and hello spring….
Its been a great start to the year for the Ash team, we started off the year with a staff engagement day, we have topped out on Beckenham Place Park and won some great new projects for 2019.
For far too long construction has been a male-dominated industry. At Ash, we want to challenge this stereotype and do all we can to celebrate women in the industry and the importance of their contribution.
Ash are pleased to announce that this year we will be fundraising to support Alzheimer’s Society.
Ash recently welcomed 4 groups of pupils to site at Beckenham Place Park. The students from Sedgehill School are studying Design, Engineering and Construction.
Ash has been published in the spring edition of the Parliamentary review, this edition focused on Infrastructure and Development.
The Considerate Contractors Scheme (CCS) is a voluntary scheme contractors can engage with, promoting the improvement of the image of the construction industry.
Taking responsibility for our environmental impact is something we at Ash feel is essential given the current state of the climate and a stance we encourage everyone to take.
It’s key to start the year off as we mean to go on and with that in mind, we kicked 2019 off with a staff engagement day.
With 2018 coming to a close here at Ash we have been thinking about 2019 and how we can make the best year of it yet!
We are taking time to reflect on some of what we have been able to give back to the community over the year.
Ash is a strong believer in supporting young people and helping them climb the employment ladder.
Ash was delighted to win two awards for Site Safety
Those of you who are eagle eyed may have picked up on a few changes Ash has been going through recently, the biggest being the redesign of our website.
We thoroughly enjoyed our second time round at the Kent Construction Expo. on the 4th of October.
Ash has recently successfully completed the transition process from ISO9001-2008 to ISO9001-2015 certification for Quality Management.
At the Open House event at Beckenham Place Park, Ash presented our current progress on the project and spoke about how remaining sympathetic to the history of the site has been at the heart of the project.
The Ash team is growing with three new recruits. Changes to the office space is needed as Ash continues to grow.
The Ash team has been working hard through our busiest season. Summer brought not only record-breaking temperatures but also the completion of several projects for Ash.
