St mary’s church, stoke newington

Ash was appointed to deliver the demolition and reconstruction of the atrium and utility rooms at St Mary’s Church. The reconstruction required a challenging design that would incorporate the historical architecture of the Church but also embraced modern design. The new atrium now includes a new state of the art kitchen, modern-looking bathrooms and spacious rooms for prayers and external hire. Throughout the building, skylights allow the flow of natural light. Whilst delivering the project, the team were required to take extra precaution to the historic trees on the site.
